I changed my iPhone 6s screen, which was cracked. The digitizer didn’t work on the lower 1/4 of the screen!
In the process, the camera ribbon cable was torn.
So I got a replacement front facing camera, and ended up using it with the old screen while waiting for a second display & digitizer.
I think I forgot to disconnect the battery when I hooked up the camera & changed the screen – the screen wouldn’t light. I read about disconnecting the camera – and the screen lit up again!
So I had to order a new camera again. But my screen died when I tried to adjust the brightness.
I can’t win for loosing.
I don’t think it was the camera’s fault. I’m still waiting to fix the digitizer & screen again.
