this is great antenna I absolutely would recommend for meshtastic or even ham radio, I contacted the seller to ask if they could make one with the right sma for a Baofeng, they did, and so far I can tell is great, I’m waiting in some equipment to get some numbers, but so far the performance I have seen is close to the 148 cm abree, with terrain and direct sight line, which considering the size and format is great, the main valance point of the antenna is close to the connector so it won’t put much streets on the sma of any unit or ham radio, as of the second picture my Baofeng lost it’s sma retainer nut, but I used the antenna with it and I can tell they matted really well against the retainer nut, I added an faucet seal to hel tighten the seal, and the body of the conector also mates closely to the walls of the uv82 as pictured, all and all I would recommend, great service by the seller/manufacturer 100% I’m buying again, might update latter with number once I get the testers
