    Arrived extremely well packaged and with no obvious signs of damage. The display and driver board were wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap (and shipped in a Styrofoam box!) so they were also well protected. But no display whatsoever when I connected it up and to my Raspberry Pi4B using the supplied USB power cable. No idea if the problem lies in the driver board or the display itself. E-mailed the seller but no response yet. I would give this one star EXCEPT for the amazing level of shipping protection! So I’m giving it 2 stars for now…

    It works, but the quality of the image on the screen is not so good. I connected it to a older pentium system with DVI output running Linux Mint. Resolution set to the needed 1024*600. (See the attached picture)

    It did not work in combination with my I7-4790 running the same version of Linux Mint.

    Tried it with a raspberry pi2 but there it also did not show any image. Maybe a settings thing.

    Switched the display for another one I have and the result is the same. Seems to be the control board that causes the problems.

    I am unable to review the item because, while it arrived way ahead of the promised date, I have been unable to confirm that it is in good condition and actually works. Today as I attempted for the first time to connect the ribbon on to screen to the board, the little plastic part to secure the connection, broke and cannot be reinserted into its slot.

    The tiny part, with a split along its length, can be seen beside the controller board in the photo. Is there a way to get a replacement for the broken part? I don’t know but at present the panel is useless.

    I don’t see a way to communicate with the store to try to resolve this issue so I could change my rating if things change.
